Start by filling Cyto-Set® Mix with carrier solution and then priming it through PrimeStop before you inject the cytostatic drug. This method effectively eliminates the risk of cytostatic contamination at the connection site.
The needle-free valves prevent leaks and needle sticks. The only thing allowed is the needle-free injection of the cytostatic drug into the line. Just one more added safety feature to protect pharmacy staff.
